How Gigrithm Verifies Professionals

Published 28 July 2026

We verify professionals across four layers: Identity, Skill, Conduct, and Payment Integrity. Together, these layers give companies a level of confidence they cannot get from traditional job boards or freelance platforms.

1

Identity Verification (KYC)

Every professional goes through a Know Your Customer (KYC) process before they can be active on the platform. We collect and verify:

  • Full legal name
  • Tax Identification Number (TIN)
  • Bank account details — with name confirmation to match the account number and TIN before any payment is ever released

This means every professional on Gigrithm is a real, identifiable person — not an anonymous profile. Companies are never hiring a ghost.

2

Skills & Role Verification

2a · Skill-Mapped Tasks

Professionals are assessed using tasks specifically mapped to their stated skills. This is not a generic quiz, each task is designed to test practical ability in the exact area a professional claims expertise. If you say you are a product manager, you are tested like a product manager.

2b · Role & Skills Assessment

Beyond individual skills, professionals complete a role-specific assessment that validates their ability to function in that role not just know about it. Knowing the theory and being able to do the work are two different things. We test both.

2c · Level-Based Assessment

Professionals are not just verified by role, they are verified by level:

Companies can therefore hire with confidence not just that a professional is qualified, but that they are at the right level for the work. No more guessing seniority from a CV.

3

Assessment Integrity & Conduct Standards

This is where Gigrithm is meaningfully different from any other platform. We don't just set assessments — we enforce them.

3a · Strict Assessment Conditions

During assessments, professionals are subject to:

  • No screen-switching: leaving the assessment screen flags or disqualifies the attempt
  • No copy-paste: answers must be typed, not copied in from external sources

This ensures that assessment results reflect the professional's actual ability — not their ability to find answers online.

3b · High Pass Mark

The minimum pass mark is 9 out of 10. This is deliberate. We are not trying to make it easy to get on the platform — we are trying to ensure that only genuinely capable professionals make it through.

3c · Dynamic Retake System

If a professional fails and wants to retake within 24 hours, they receive a different version of the assessment. This prevents memorization and gaming the system. Every attempt is a fresh challenge.

3d · Compliance & Reports System

We have a structured compliance and reporting system that tracks professional behaviour on the platform. Bad actors — professionals who misrepresent themselves, behave inappropriately, or fail to deliver — are flagged, reviewed, and where necessary, removed. This is not passive moderation; it is active conduct management.

4

Performance, Payment & Accountability

4a · Ratings System

After every engagement, companies can rate professionals. Ratings are visible on professional profiles, and higher-rated professionals surface more prominently on the platform. This creates a self-reinforcing quality loop — the best professionals become more visible, and underperformers are naturally filtered out over time.

4b · Escrow-Backed Payment

Companies are never at risk of paying for work that hasn't been done. All project payments are held in escrow and only released when the company explicitly approves the completed work. Professionals are not paid until you say so.

4c · Payment Identity Confirmation

Before any payment is released to a professional, the platform confirms that the bank account name matches the registered TIN and the professional's identity on file. This is a final checkpoint that protects against fraud and impersonation — ensuring the person receiving payment is the person who did the work.
